As an organizer/designer of the first Circular Economy Symposium at Harvard, I was part of a team of 20 volunteers (students, fellows, and faculty) from 7 Harvard schools and centers engaged in bringing to life a pioneer event bringing circularity discussions involving leading global institutions to over 400 participants from 40 countries.

I designed the website and promotional materials. I was also in charge of designing the event's physical materials with circular design methods to ensure the symposium's alignment with sustainability.

The story continues...

The symposium is currently on its third consecutive edition and has been nourished by many side events for the advancement and discussion of the circular economy.

Leading up to the event we had an open screening of the circular economy documentary “Closing the loop” at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

As part of the pre-events, we had the opportunity to play “In the loop”, a circular economy game designed by Dr. Katherine (Katie) Whalen that educates about critical raw materials through gameplay.
